Inter-bau foundation (IF) was officially launched on 8th November 2019 at the Southern sun hotel, Ikoyi ,Lagos.
The launch of the foundation was done in celebration of Inter-bau construction’s 35 years of operations as a leading indigenous construction company.
It was witnessed by stake holders across the construction industry, NGOs, Non-profit organizations, government and private agencies.
The launch of the foundation was Chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Engr Kenneth Onyema who welcomed and appreciated all guests present.
Member, Board of Trustees , Mrs. Doris Mbadiwe spoke about the foundation and what it plans to achieve. She stated that the foundation’s vision is to enhance & build a culture of professionalism, competence and excellence in Nigeria’s construction industry by providing skilled male and female artisans. that can have careers in the sector. That the main objective of the Foundation is to reduce youth unemployment in Nigeria
Dr. Stella Okoli MON, OON Chairman & Founder of Emzor Pharmaceuticals and Chike Okoli Foundation provided the keynote address where she commended the efforts of the Founder of Inter-bau construction Limited, Sir Nath & Lady Ann okechukwu and the Board of Trustees for Inter-bau Foundation for coming up with such a great initiative to provide social change in the construction industry and Nigeria at large.
Other well meaning Nigerians were present, pledged their support and provided Goodwill messages at the launch.
