Mass Awareness and Sensitization Campaigns

These campaigns aim to increase awareness of the 190+ career opportunities in the construction industry, change misconceptions about female participation, and promote careers in construction industry as ‘Gender Neutral’. This is achieved through several activities:
- School Outreaches: This ‘Early Attraction’ initiative aims at exposing female students in both public and private secondary schools to opportunities in the construction sector.

- NYSC Outreaches: This aims to sensitize and expose fresh graduates currently undergoing NYSC to the myriad of opportunities within the construction sector just before they enter the labor force.

- Community Outreaches: Recognizing the influence of parents and community leaders on career choices, this outreach initiative aim to sensitize parents and community members about career opportunities for females in the construction industry.

- Train the Trainer: In addition to sensitizing students, we also counsel and train school career counselors during our secondary school outreaches. We equip them with our information booklet on careers and pathways in construction, along with a career guidance book tailored for counselors. These efforts ensure that our message extends beyond the outreach, fostering long-term impact through the counselors’ continuous work with students.

- Mass Media Campaigns: We utilize social media and mass media platforms such as radio, billboards, and newspapers to advance our “WOMEN CAN BUILD TOO” campaign.
